Woods Hole Inn (in early spring) as seen from the Martha’s Vineyard ferry.
This blog is written by Beth Colt, owner of the Woods Hole Inn and the Quicks Hole restaurant (only the best lobster tacos on the Cape:).
This blog follows news of Woods Hole, fun things to do in and around Woods Hole, and musings about life in this tiny fishing port. Like the town crier of yore, this cool blog will share with you good times (summer!) and bad (hurricanes!) from our perch on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean.
The Woods Hole Inn is located in the middle of world famous Woods Hole on the southeastern most spit of Cape Cod and is a great spot to start your Cape Cod vacation. Steps from the water, a stone’s throw from the ferry to Martha’s Vineyard, this wonderful old building has been lovingly restored and modernized with an eye to eco-conciousness.
Come stay GREEN by the deep BLUE sea.
The Woods Hole Inn is located at 28 Water Street in Woods Hole, MA 02543.

Hey Beth, Love what you’re doing, telling a great story of the Inn and the Hole.
We actually were down having dinner last night, then spent a fair amount of time visiting old friends/ customers. Extremely gratifying to hear what we were able to do for the merchants as far as Recycling and saving everyone a fair amount on their monthly bills. Everyone became more than a customer to me, I still view them and you as friends.
I had this thought earlier this year that the WHBA should put together a blog, similar to yours supporting all the business’s, activities, events, sales, and updates going on in the community. As well as a prespective from anyone who would like to contribute their view of life in WH.
Keep up all the good work See you at a upcoming Chamber event.

PS You had that STAR quality on the news tonight.
Thanks Kevin – still have not seen the news, but my friend Bob says I come off like an “affable historian.” I said, well that describes me to a T!
